BEE Certification (Pty) Ltd Verification Process
1. Client Visit
- Quote and agree price
- Sign Verification Agreement
- Complete Client Questionnaire
- Request Documentation
- Assess Conflict of interest – Indicate Yes or No
- Conduct BEE Verification in accordance with BEE Onsite Visit & Audit Plan if BEE documentation is available and no conflict of interest
- Arrange for client invoice – Complete annexure
- Obtain payment, collect cheque or prove that client has made EFT for full settlement of fee
2. If there is a conflict of interest
- Then submit conflict of interest assessment to COO of BEEC who will assess and determine validity of conflict of interest and determine
- If immaterial then Verification Analyst retains assignment
- If material
- Reassign audit to different Verification Auditor or
- Terminate the verification agreement, by exercising termination clause in the verification agreement via e-mail
3. If documentation is not available
- Schedule meeting to prepare audit file (complete separate fee section in verification agreement) and
- Schedule meeting to conduct BEE Verification Audit (onsite)
- Calculate BEE Score – Indicative
- Arrange for supplementary invoice for additional fees
4. After completion of BEE Verification
- Submit file for review process
- Conduct process review
- Place review notes on file
- Sign off on process review
- Conduct audit review
- Place review notes on file
- Sign off on audit review
- Conduct BEE Verification Risk Assessment
- Place risk assessment on file
- Sign off on risk assessment
- Calculate BEE Score – Final BEE score if no process or review notes
- Conduct process review
5. Issue certificate and BEE Verification audit report
- If there is no review notes and
- Payment has been received in full.
